POSITION SUMMARY

The Technical Solution Architect is responsible for the technical design and implementation of software solutions for our clients, built on the VibeIQ platform. This role serves as the technical counterpart to a Functional Solution Architect and owns how VibeIQ is implemented within a customer’s broader systems landscape.

This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role that blends technical architecture, integration design, development, and customer-facing delivery. You will work closely with customer IT teams, other functional and technical delivery team members, and internal engineering to design secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions that meet both customer needs and VibeIQ platform standards.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Technical Architecture & Solution Design

  1. Own the technical architecture for customer implementations involving integrations, complex data flows, or non-standard requirements
  2. Collaborate with clients to gather technical and functional requirements and synthesize them to craft clear technical designs aligned with VibeIQ’s platform capabilities and architectural standards
  3. Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support customer growth and evolving use cases
  4. Assess technical feasibility, risks, and tradeoffs and provide clear recommendations to internal teams and customers

Integrations, Data & Platform Enablement

  1. Design and support integrations between VibeIQ and customer systems such as ERP, PLM, PIM, DAM, BI, or other enterprise platforms
  2. Define API usage patterns, data synchronization strategies, and error-handling approaches
  3. Support data onboarding and migration efforts, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and loading
  4. Establish data quality checks and technical guardrails during implementation

Technical Delivery & Oversight

  1. Act as the technical lead on customer engagements, partnering with Functional Consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions
  2. Review and validate technical configurations, integration approaches, and code to ensure adherence to best practices
  3. Troubleshoot complex technical issues during implementation, go-live, and post-launch escalations
  4. Participate directly as a hands-on contributor when needed, including writing or reviewing code to execute on technical designs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  1. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure customer implementations align with platform standards and roadmap direction
  2. Provide structured technical feedback from the field to inform product improvements and future capabilities
  3. Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services leadership to continuously improve delivery processes and technical standards

Pre-Sales & Advisory Support

  1. Support pre-sales technical discovery, solution scoping, and feasibility assessments for complex opportunities
  2. Help align customer expectations with platform capabilities and technical realities early in the sales cycle

Continuous Improvement & Enablement

  1. Contribute to internal technical documentation, reference architectures, and reusable assets
  2. Mentor engineers and consultants by sharing technical expertise and best practices
  3. Identify opportunities to improve tooling, automation, and delivery efficiency across the organization


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  1. 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or enterprise SaaS delivery
  2. Strong industry experience in retail, footwear, or apparel
  3. Experience working with PLM platforms (FlexPLM experience strongly preferred)
  4. Hands-on experience with customization, integrations, data migration, and troubleshooting
  5. Strong understanding of data models, enterprise systems, and platform architecture
  6. Comfortable working independently with customers in complex environments
